![]() ![]() I've seen a few transferable M16s (manufactured pre-1986) built on Sendra lowers and I haven't seen any built on Olympic Arms, but these are $10k to $12k items. Sendra was probably one of the better early AR lower makers. That was not the case with these early Sendras, EAs, Olympic Arms, etc. I picked up a random (I can't remember the name) $70 AR lower the other day at a ELGS, got it stuffed for another $100, and it fit every GI upper I had. Today, everyone seems to have access to CNC machines (and know how to program them), so the quality of parts has gone up considerably. ![]() IMHO, unless you are a collector of early Colt AR15s, it doesn't matter.Īctually, some of these older "non-Colt" AR lowers had questionable tolerances (ask me how I know this!).
